The Waterboys - Mad as the mist and snow (2011)

Su encuentro con MrYeats no es un disco fácil, necesita tiempo y relax para llegar a la médula, y como todos sabéis, la sobreinformación reinante no juega a favor de este tipo de discos. Además Mike Scott no cuenta con el incondicional apoyo de la crítica que otros poetas malditos tienen, como Nick Cave por poner un ejemplo.

Las leyes del comercio son así, no puedes ir a tu bola y pretender llegar a mucha gente, por desgracia para la música todo sea dicho. Aprovecho que The Waterboys estrenan nuevo video para recomendar de nuevo "An appointment with mr.Yeats", un disco increible lleno de matices y detalles que saben a delicatessen.

Por cierto, el verso "You're asking what makes me sigh now, what it is makes me shudder so" ya aparecía en su canción "Old England" incluida en "This is the Sea". Os dejo la premiere "Mad as the mist and snow" y más abajo el poema.
